Privacy and Data Processing
SUMMARY INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF THE EUROPEAN REGULATION 679/2016
1. Data controller
a) UP s.r.l (Data Controller) based in Bologna 40122, Via Riva di Reno 4, P.IVA - CF IT00884771205. The Data Controller can be contacted at the email address privacy@chainon.it.
2. Purposes
a) The data collected are used for: (I) the registration to the ChainOn Platform (Platform); (II) the creation of the personal profile; (III) to offer the User a service in line with his/her preferences, including browsing preferences, as well as to facilitate the match between Investor and Seller of sponsorship, media and licensing rights.
3. Modalities
a) The personal data provided by the User will be processed by means of computer and telematic tools having adequate security measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the same in compliance with the provisions of the regulations in force.
4. Legal basis
a) The legal basis is the consent of the User.
5. Data Retention
a) Personal data will be processed for a maximum period of 12 months, unless legal provisions require the holder to fulfill special obligations.
6. Nature of conferment
a) The provision of data is optional. However, refusal to provide the data will result in the inability to use the Platform.
7. Communication and Dissemination
a) Personal data, collected for the purposes indicated may be subject to communication and dissemination in accordance with the indications of the European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR).
b) Personal data may be made known to the persons in charge of their processing, authorized officers, employees and/or collaborators of the Data Controller.
8. Rights of the data subjects
a) The individuals to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation as to whether any processing of personal data concerning them is taking place. If a processing is taking place, the data subject, in relation to his or her data, may obtain: (I) access; (II) the information referred to in Article 15 GDPR; (III) a copy; (IV) rectification (Articles 15 and 16 GDPR).
(b) Data subjects have the right to request deletion, restriction of processing, portability of data as well as to complain to the Supervisory Authority and to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to processing (Art. 17 ff. GDPR). These rights can be exercised by written notice to be sent by email to privacy@chainon.it or by mail to the address of the Data Controller mentioned in Art. 1 of this document.
